Preventing Slips and Falls
The National Bureau of Standards recognized the need to have some measurement of slip-resistance of various surfaces. A machine was developed to take these measurements using some basic mathematics and laws of physics. It is important to know these devices exist and can be used in your facility to determine the relative friction on walkway surfaces. This program will focus on preventing slip and fall accidents.
