Dog Bite Prevention - What can you do to protect yourself? You can’t carry a gun and wearing protective clothing really isn’t an option. The best protection is knowing a little more about dogs, their habits, and some tips on emergency action. To a dog, you are an intruder, you’re entering his turf and he doesn’t like it. Be observant.
