Ergonomics - Let’s take a look at the four major elements of an effective ergonomics program. Keep in mind your program will never be completed because ergonomics requires a continuing effort.  First, the worksite analysis identifies existing hazards and conditions, operations that create hazards, and areas where hazards may develop. This also includes close scrutiny and tracking of injury and illness records to identify patterns of traumas or strains that may indicate the development of cumulative trauma disorders.
