The American Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law on July 26, 1990. The goal of ADA is to allow Americans with disabilities to lead productive lives by providing minor accommodations. It is designed as a federal anti-discrimination statute to make public and private entities accessible to people with disabilities.
