Sexual Harassment in the Workplace

In 1980 the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission declared sexual harassment an unlawful employment practice. In 1986 a major Supreme Court decision affirmed the illegality of sexual harassment. In 1998 the court mandated that employers take appropriate steps to stop sexual harassment. This program defines sexual harassment, provides tips on how to recognize sexually harassing behavior and what to do if you are a victim.
